How we help families afford care.

Every program is designed to keep pets at home and out of shelters. All assistance is paid directly to participating veterinary clinics.

Emergency Care Grants

Up to $1,500 paid directly to your partner clinic for urgent surgeries, trauma, or life-threatening illness.

Preventive Care

Vaccinations, parasite prevention, and wellness exams for families who can't afford regular vet visits.

Spay & Neuter Vouchers

Free or reduced-cost sterilization through our partner clinic network.

Crisis Bridge Fund

Short-term support during job loss, illness, eviction, or housing transitions so pets stay with their families.

How to apply

  2. 2. Complete a short eligibility form (we ask about household income and household size).
  3. 3. Most applications receive a decision within 24–48 hours; emergencies are reviewed same-day.
  4. 4. Funds are paid directly to the clinic.

Eligibility checklist

  • · Household income at or under 200% of the federal poverty level
  • · Applicant is the pet's legal owner (dogs and cats only)
  • · Treatable illness or injury with a reasonable prognosis
  • · Written treatment estimate from a licensed DVM at a participating clinic
  • · U.S. resident with a verifiable mailing address

What to have ready

  • · Government-issued photo ID
  • · Proof of income (recent pay stub, prior-year tax return, SNAP or Medicaid card)
  • · Itemized written estimate from your veterinary clinic
  • · Contact details for the treating clinic (name, address, fax/email for grant remittance)

What we do not fund

We are not able to provide cash payments, prepaid cards, or gift cards to families. We do not reimburse care that has already been paid for, and we do not fund elective procedures, cosmetic surgeries, end-of-life euthanasia without a treatable alternative, or care for pets being prepared for resale.
